KPK Students Promoted to next Class Despite Scoring just 5-8% marks

All public sector schools in KPK have announced their results for classes one to eight. and the success rate is 100%, obviously, you will think how.?
As per policy students from classes, one to five should promote to the next class even if they score 5-8% marks. and from class six to eight students should promote even their scores 15-18 percent.
According to an official of the KPK education department, years – old Policy was implemented by Awami National Party ANP Government to promote all students from classes one to eight. After 16 years still policy is in implementation. ANP introduced years ago this policy to increase the literacy rate in Province as well as to reduce the disappointment among students.
They believe that when a student fails in exams, he and his parent get disappointed and sometimes parents withdraw the student from the School. But according to teachers, this policy creates difficulties for them, as when a student who even cannot write his name is promoted t, the next class, it can be very difficult for the teacher to get through with such students. As per policy, Shools are compelled to enroll the students who are coming from Primary schools without any test.
This policy should be rolled back an “official” said, as it has not worked for the last 16 years. The Government should introduce a new policy and reintroduce board exams for the fifth and eighth classes.
