Special Examinations were conducted for those students who were not satisfied with their annual 10th class result. They reappear in the special exams in order to improve their marks and division respectively. The special exams were conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education ( BISE) Faisalabad. BISE Faisalabad History

Board of intermediate and Secondary Education, Faisalabad was established in 1988. It is now being governed under the Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1976. There are 15 members on the Board of Governors including the Chairman. Few members are ex-officers and others are nominated as per provisions of the Act.

The Board is an autonomous institution with the power to make rules. It does not receive any grant-in-aid or any donation from the Govt. or other semi Govt. agency. It has to generate its own funds through the levy of examinations and other fees.

The main Services of the Boards are To hold and conduct examinations pertaining to Intermediate Education, Secondary Education, Pakistani and Classical Languages and such other examinations as determined by the government, accord, refuse or withdraw recognition to the Educational Institutions, lay down conditions for appointment to various examinations held by the Board. To grant certificates and diplomas to successful candidates, fix, demand, and receive fees as may be prescribed. To award scholarships, medals, and prizes to position holders. To organize and promote extramural activities, create posts, and appoint such staff as may be considered necessary for the purpose of its functions; provided that a post in Bs-17 or above, shall be created with prior approval of the Controlling Authority. To make provision for building’s premises, furniture, apparatus, books, and other means required for carrying out the purposes of the Act.

Special Exams Policy 2021 for Matric 10th class Students of BISE Faisalabad

According to the notified Promotion Policy 2021, those candidates of SSC and HSSC (Part-II) Annual Examinations 2021 who were absent in the examinations or who do not accept the award of 33% passing marks in failed subject or subjects, may appear in the Special Examination 2021. Such candidates shall be required to declare in writing their option to appear in the Special Examination 2021 within fifteen days of the declaration of results.

Those candidates whose admission forms were not forwarded by institutions due to shortage of attendance may submit their admission forms and appear in the Special Examination 2021 as regular candidates.

Candidates who want to improve their results according to the Promotion Policy 2021 may appear in the Special Examination 2021. however. if a candidate wants to appear in one or two subject(s), may appear for improvement, but the marks obtained shall be awarded only in the respective subject(s).

Candidates may appear in the additional subject (s) in the Special Examination 2021.

Candidates having the last chance up to Supplementary Examination 2021 may appear in the Special Examination 2021.

Those candidates of SSC and HSSC who appeared for improvement of marks In the Annual Examinations 2021, but are not satisfied with their result, shall be granted one extra chance for the Special Examinations 2021.

What to do if I got less marks in Special Exams?

If you got less marks than the actual exams which were held before special exams then you have to reappear in next year because you can not reverse the result of special exams.
