P.h.D and Engineers also Appeared in Constable Recruitment Test said by IG Islamabad

A few days ago when the Written test was held for Police Constable in Islamabad against 1667 posts. Numerous candidates approximately more than 30,000 appeared for the written test. Inspector General IG of Islamabad Police Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan said that P.h.D and Engineering degree holders also appeared for the test.

The basic qualification for the Constable is Bachelor’s degree but in the current scenario of unemployment Dooctrate and engineering degree holders also come for the police job. The recruitment process is going on and after the written test, qualified candidates will be called for further process.

IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan said that if 6000 policemen are recruited in the Federal Police, we will not need to call for FC and Rangers from August. In addition he added that when Police Officers had authority for recruitment, District level officer DPO was recruiting on vacant posts in the past. But as now the recruitment process is changed and DPO cannot recruit , the process is taking time for recruitment and need several authorites approval to start the recruitment process.

It should be remembered that 177 cases of murder were registered in the federal capital in 2022. Around 152 people died in traffic accidents. He further said that signals will also be run on the Srinagar highway during rush hours so that traffic accidents can be controlled.
