Punjab School Education Department Notification For Comprehensive Re-Opening Preparations

The Punjab School Education Department ( SED) issued a notification regarding comprehensive re-opening preparations for a safe and inviting school environment.

Schools are scheduled to resume their operations, following the summer break. In light of this, the competent authority has been directed to guarantee the implementation of the subsequent operating procedures ( SOPs). The following point should be followed.

Maintenance of the environment, encompassing areas such as classrooms, rooftops, water tanks, outdoor spaces, and lawns, along with the consistent implementation of anti-dengue protocols has been reiterated on multiple occasions.
Considering the exact security protocols, it is emphasized that comprehensive security measures should be guaranteed in both public and private schools. Additionally, SOPs for A+ and A category schools, whether public or private, must be strictly followed prior to the resumption of classes following the summer break.
Ensure that all fans , lights and other electrical devices are in porper working condition.
Decorate the school premises with welcoming banners , colorful display for welcoming the students.

It is important to know that all Schools in Punjab are re-opening on Monday , 21 August 2023. The girls’ school timing will be from 7:15 AM 12:45 PM , while boys school will observe 7:30 AM – 1:00 PM
