Resolution Passed for Teaching Quran and Seerat-un – Nabi Should be Compulsory in Universities

On Monday, during a Senate session, a resolution was moved with the title of ” Teaching of Holy Quran and Seerat -un- Nabi made compulsory in Universities.” The resolution passed unanimously. According to the resolution, the teaching of the Holy Quran with translation, tajweed, and Tafseer should be compulsory for all students ( Muslims) in Pakistani Universities.

The resolution also stated that teaching should not be part of the examinations. The purpose of teaching should be to aware the students of Sunnah and Quran teaching. In this way, the focus of the students would remain on the acquisition of learning and knowledge of the Holy Quran.

senate also pass another resolution unanimously with the recommendation of imparting the Seerat of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH) to youngsters. It also emphasized that the young generation must learn the Seerat -un – Nabi and Holy Quran with translation to make their lives easier and according to Islam.

During the session, another resolution also passed regarding the road blockages during the tours of foreign cricket teams. The resolution recommended that the Pakistan cricket Board PCB should build hotels according to international standards within the complexes or near the Stadiums in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, and Karachi.

Hotels should have easy access to the stadiums and this will be helpful to avoid traffic blockages during the tours of foreign teams. These hotels will be not only helpful in tours but also during the PSL and other important domestic matches.
