Federal Ministry for Education Announces Summer Vacation Schedule for Colleges and Schools
In a recent development, the Federal Directorate of Education ( FDE), the department of the Federal Education Ministry has announced the schedule of summer vacations in all Federal education institutes.
According to the notification, all educational institutions working under the Federal ministry will observe the summer vacations for the academic year 2023 from 6 June 2023 to 31 July 2023.
FDE also announced the schedule for upcoming spring and winter vacations also for the academic year 2023.
The summer vacations in Federal institutions will be applicable only to students. The Head of Institutions will make necessary arrangements for the continuation of administrative activities and stock checking during vacation tenure.

The winter vacation will fall on 25 December to 31 December. It is worth remembering that in the last year, winter vacations were extended due to severe cold waves across the country and in the Capital city.
The Federal Directorate of Education FDE institutions will observe other all gazetted, religious and public holidays as per the Government announcement.
Punjab Education department will announce the summer vacation schedule later. Other province education departments will also announce the vacation schedule in the coming days.
