The Future of Thousands of Graduation Students is at Stake

The educational future of thousands of BA, and BSc associate degree students is in jeopardy. The Higher Education Commission HEC has abolished the MA and MSc degrees and directed universities and colleges to offer admission in the fifth semester instead.

But this policy is not being implemented in the various college in Lahore, admissions are not being given in the rest, where admissions are being given, and the students are being sent to different legal recruitments.

Some colleges in Lahore are affiliated with Punjab University and some Lahore Colleges are affiliated with For women’s University, the affiliated college with LCWU says that they have not been allowed admission in the fifth semester.

While some of the colleges affiliated with Punjab University are giving admission in the fifth semester of their own choice, the students say that the students holding first division are also unable to take admission.

The Director of Colleges says that the universities are independent and the university which allowed admission in the fifth semester, the policy will be implemented there.
