Admission Criteria
The Admission criteria for enrolling in programs offered by UMT generally include meeting the standards set for undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs. Entrance test samples are available on the OIA website. All admissions are based on merit as per the stated criteria or additional criteria (if applicable). The undergraduate merit is calculated in accordance with the following benchmarks:
- 20% of Marks obtained in Matric
- 30% of Marks obtained in the Entrance Test
- 50% of Marks obtained in Intermediate
- Interview if required
For undergraduate (Engineering programs), the merit list will be finalized on the basis of the following:
- Passing of entry Test with a Minimum of 33% marks from the Designated Entity / Testing Agency is mandatory.
- 50% of Marks obtained in Intermediate
- 33% of Marks obtained in the Entrance Test
- 17% of Marks obtained in Matric
