Punjab Government Employees Salary Deduction April 2020 for Chief Minister Punjab’s Fund for Corona Control.
A Letter has been issued to The Accountant General, Punjab, Lahore for Deduction of April 2020 Salary for Chief Minister Punjab’s Fund for Corona Control.
This Salary will be deducted from all employees under Punjab Government.

I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to inform that in order to control the recent PANDEMIC CORONA, which causes disease known as “COVID-19”, a “FUND” under title “Chief Minister Punjab’s Fund for Corona Control” has been created as Account No.6010204028522213 of The Bank* of Punjab, Civil Secretariat Branch, Lahore vide this department’s letter No.SO(TT)6-1/2017, Pt-IV, dated 24.03.2020 (Copy enclosed).
It has been decided to deduct. the salary of the government employees for the month of April, 2020′ towards..contribution for the said fund as per details below:-
- BS-1-16 01-Day salary
- BS-17-19 02-Day salary
- BS-20 and above 03-Day salary
I am, therefore, directed to request to make the deduction from the salary of the employees for the month of April, 2020 of all Administrative Departments, Attached Departments, District Education Authorities, District Health Authorities and Field Formations who are paid salary through the Accountant General, Punjab or District Accounts Offices as per above schedule and accounted for the same upon the completion of payroll cycle at the end this month. But kindly issue a cheque immediately in this regard in order to deposit in the aforesaid bank account considering the urgency of the matter to counter “C 19” during the next two weeks.
