CM Punjab Women Empowerment Package All You Need To Know
Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced the Women Empowerment Package for Punjab Province. This package includes the following which are helpful for women empowerment.
- Enhanced Participation of Women in Public Sector Employment
- Housing Facilities for Working Women
- Protection of Right to Inheritance & Right to Property
- Support for Women Entrepreneurs
- Women’s Education and Skills Development
- Sports Facilities for Women Across Punjab
- Protection of Domestic Workers
She also announced to provision of Pink Bikes to women. To enhance participation in the public sector, she increased the specific quota in the Punjab Public Service Commission to 15%.
CM Punjab said that building hostels for women is on my agenda because many girls, and women are away from home due to employment and have to bear separate expenses for accommodation.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif also launched the Women’s Safety Application “Never Again” for women’s safety.
