CM Punjab Launches Women Safety App “Never Again”

Newly Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the Women Safety Application “Never Again” to ensure the protection of women folk.

She was addressing a ceremony on International Women’s Day. Being the first women Chief Minister of Punjab she focused on women’s empowerment. She announced to increase in the job quota in PPSC for women from 10% to 15%.

Maryam Nawaz said that funds of one billion rupees have been allocated to establish Day Care Centers at workplaces. She also said that women hostels will built for working women.

She said that the transfer fee will not be charged on gifting property to the sister and daughter. Women will get 50% of loans for online businesses.

She also announced a women’s empowerment package which includes housing facilities for women, enhancement of women’s role in public sector employment, support for women, and women’s education and skill development programs.
