Sindh Govt Revises Schools Colleges Timings for Ramadan 2023

The Sindh School Education and Literacy department announced the revised timings for all educational institutions in the Province during the holy month of Ramadan. This will be applicable to all public and private schools & colleges.

According to the notification, all Government and private schools and colleges will start at 7:30 am and continue till 12 pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. While on Friday timing will be from 7:30 am to 11:00 am.

On the other side, Federal Govt also announced the office timings for public offices for the month of Ramadan. All public offices under the ambit of the Federal Government will start at 7:30 am to 1:30 pm from Monday to Thursday. On Friday office hours will be from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department ( PMD), there is a strong possibility that the moon of Ramadan 2023 will be sighted on the evening of 22 March ( Wednesday). It is strongly expected that the first Ramadan 2023 will be set on 23 March Thursday.

All Muslims across the world are observing the holy month of Ramadan annually. During this spiritual month, Muslims refrain from eating and drinking.

United Arab Emirates UAE, Saudia Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and other Gulf countries will likely start Ramadan 2023 tomorrow. Anyhow yet their concerned departments will sit for a moon sighting today evening and announce it accordingly.
