Punjab Education Department Announces New School Timings After Eid
School timings in all public and private schools in Punjab will revised their working hours after Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. According to the latest notification issued from District Education Authority Gujrat revised school timings will observed from 26th April 2023.
The official notification stat that ” reference to the School Education Department Govt of Punjab notification No. SO ( A-1) I-31/2008( P-I)” the following school timings are hereby notified which shall be observed in all Public and Private Schools.
Revised School Timings in Punjab

| 26-04-2023 To 15-10-2023 | Monday to Saturday | 07:30 AM – 1:00 PM | Single Shift |
| 26-04-2023 To 15-10-2023 | Friday | 07:30 AM – 11:30 AM | Single Shift |
| 26-04-2023 To 15-10-2023 | Monday to Saturday | 07:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Morning Shift |
| 26-04-2023 To 15-10-2023 | Friday | 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Morning Shift |
| 26-04-2023 To 15-10-2023 | Monday to Saturday | 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM | Evening Shift |
| 26-04-2023 To 15-10-2023 | Friday | 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM | Evening Shift |
The opening and closing time for girls schools shall be 15 minutes earlier than above mentioned timings. It is further added that only 3 study hours will be allocated for pre-nursery and prep will be observed ( till 11:00 AM).
