CM Maryam Nawaz Approves 657 Passenger Buses and Electric Bikes for Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif approved 657 modern buses and 20 thousand electric bikes for public transport. She marked the approval while chairing a meeting to review the transport project of the province.

The bike project will start on 9th May and delivery will also be completed during May.

Addressing the participants of the meeting, Punjab’s first-ever woman CM said, she is fully aware of the problems being faced by the people of the province.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s directive to reduce the advance amount for students. It is the responsibility of the government to resolve the suffering of the people. She emphasizes that now it is the Government’s responsibility to overcome the burden of people.

Earlier this month she directed for the rehabilitation of roads across the Punjab. The project “Sarkein Bahaal Punjab Khushhal” will start soon and no road will be left broken in the next six months.

She focused on women’s empowerment and initiated the “Women Empowerment Package”. From safety and security of women to building hostels for working women is my top priority, said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
