Punjab Educational Boards Increased the Remuneration for Paper Marking
According to the news, the Paper marking fees for all education boards have been increased. Education Board has increased the fees for paper marks in matriculation for checking papers with more than 50 marks, it will be given Rs 45 per paper.
A paper rate of Rs.35 will be given for checking less than 50 marks copies of Matric and Rs.50 per paper for checking papers with more than 50 marks of Intermediate. In Inter, the copy checker with less than 50 marks will be paid 40 rupees per paper.
The Assistant Examiner will be paid 3.30 Rs. after checking the paper, this decision is welcomed by the paper markers and there is no apology for this decision. This new rate of remuneration for paper-checking staff is a good step in the current economic situation in the country.

This decision was made in the Punjab Board Committee Chairman’s meeting and the decision will apply to all education boards including Lahore.
In addition, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education FBISE changed the marks policy, instead of the marks system FBISE is introducing the GPA system in its educational institutes. Moreover, FBISE increases the passing percentage also.
According to the notification, FBISE increased the passing marks from 33% to 40% at SSC and HSSC levels.
FBISE Federal Board has changed the grading system from Marks to GPS System. Now there will be no marks on result cards but there will be FBISE GPA and CGPA System.
